What sizes are your Duvet Covers and Sheets available in?

What do the blend ratios (70/30, 80/20, 100% cotton) mean?

These ratios refer to the fabric composition:

70/30: 70% cotton, 30% polyester – durable, easy-care, and cost-effective.
80/20: A more cotton-rich blend for added softness while retaining commercial durability.
100% cotton: Offers maximum softness and very good breathability, ideal for luxury settings.

What thread count should I choose?

Thread count indicates how many threads are woven per square inch.

T180-T250: Durable and smooth - perfect for busy hotels and guesthouses.
T300: A premium option offering a softer, crispier feel - ideal for high-end accommodation.

Do your duvet covers and pillowcases fit beds with toppers?

What is a bag-style pillowcase or duvet cover?

A bag-style design features an open end, with an extra flap length to tuck under the mattress or pillow. This makes linen changes quicker, keeping everything securely in place, and gives a neat, hotel-quality finish.

Is your Bed Linen suitable for commercial laundry?

Can I mix and match sheet and duvet cover styles?

Absolutely! All of our sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers are available separately, allowing you to mix and match by size or fabric rangte to suit your preferences and guests needs.

What sizes and shapes of Tablecloths do you offer?

We supply a variety of standard table linen sizes to suit common table shapes and setups, including:

Rectangular Tablecloths - ideal for banquet tables, dining tables and buffets
Square Tablecloths - perfect for busy restaurants, cafes and hospitality environments
Circular Tablecloths - commonly used for events, dining rooms and restaurants

How do I remove common stains like red wine or oil from tablecloths?

Our table linen is made to handle commercial use, but prompt treatment of stains is key. For best results, here's some advice:

Red wine - rinse with cold water and pre-treat with stain remover before washing
Oil and greasy stains - apply a small amount of liquid detergent directly to the stain before laundering
General stains - wash at 60°C using a professional detergent

How should I store my tablecloths to keep them in top condition?

Store clean and dry table linen folded neatly in a dry, well ventilated area. Avoid damp storage conditions or sealed plastic bags, as they can trap moisture and lead to mildew or odours. Use open shelving or fabric storage bags for best results.

What types of towels do you offer?

We supply a full range of hotel quality white towels, including:

All of the above are available in absorbent, long-lasting cotton or cotton-rich blends suitable for commercial laundering.

What does GSM mean, how does it affect the towel?

GSM = grams per square metre. This measures the towel thickness and absorbency:

400-500 GSM - lightweight, fast-drying and suitable for frequent use
500-650 GSM - soft, plush and highly absorbent - ideal for premium guest bathrooms

We typically supply 500-600 GSM towels for the best balance between softness, absorbency and durability

Can your towels be washed at high temperatures?

Yes - all of our towels are made to withstand high-temperature washing, essential for hygiene in hospitality settings. We'd always advise you to contact Gleaming Services for all of your laundry requirements.

Do you offer coloured towels, or just white?

We specialise in classic white, hotel quality towels, ideal for maintaining a fresh, clean image and ensuring consistency in commercial laundering. Coloured or branded towels may be available on request for larger orders.

Do you offer bath mats or bundles?

How does your linen rental service work?

With our linen hire service, we supply you with fresh linen on a scheduled basis. So, you simply:

1. Use the clean linen that we deliver to you in one of our fleet vans

2. Bag up the used linen, ready for collection

3. Receive a fresh batch of linen on your next scheduled drop

This method is cost-effective, convenient and helps you to avoid linen stock management! We also have a quick 48-hour turnaround to assist with supply and demand.

What areas do you cover for laundry and linen services?

We cover a wide area across the UK, however we mainly cater to the Midlands, mid-Wales, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham and other surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we operate in your area, just contact us and we will be able to confirm availability.

How often do you collect and deliver?

We typically structure our timetable using a quick, 48 hour turnaround. However, we offer flexible schedules depending on your needs. We'll work with you to find a collection and delivery routine that suits your business.

What happens if items go missing or are damaged?

As a family-run business, we take great care in handling your linen, but if there are any lost or damaged items, we have a clear process in place for reporting, investigating and replacing them promptly.
