Definitions:

By accessing and using gleamingservices.com (this website), you agree to be bound by the following terms, which are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and reliable experience for all users. These terms govern your use of our website, including any content, features, and services offered through it.

Gleaming Services is a family-run business that specialises in hotel-quality laundry services, linen hire, and the sale of premium linens and towels through our online shop. 

Please read these terms carefully before using the site. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not access or use the website.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.

2. Use of the Website

This website is intended to protect information about our services and allows customers to make product purchases and service enquiries. 

You agree to not misuse the site, or engage in any harmful activity such as spreading viruses or attempting unauthorised access. 

We reserve the right to modify or remove content at any time without prior notice. 

3. Product Purchases on our Shop 

All products on our Shop are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue items without any notice.

Prices on our Shop are displayed in GBP and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. 

We strive to display Product descriptions, images and pricing as accurately as possible. In such cases that an error has occurred on the website, causing an inaccurate representation of the Product, we reserve the right to correct the error and cancel an order. 

4. Orders and Payments 

By placing an order, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted.

We require payments to be made in full before dispatch. We accept major debit and credit cards through a secure checkout process. Where required, payments can be taken over the telephone.

A confirmation email will be sent to you once your order has been accepted. 

5. Shipping and Delivery 

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframes stated on the product pages. Delivery times may vary depending on location and availability. 

Any delivery dates or dates given by Gleaming Services for the delivery of Goods are approximate only, and are not of any contractual effect. 

Shipping fees (if applicable) will be clearly stated and visible during checkout. 

Gleaming Services is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or Events Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation, staff absences, sickness, strikes, lock-outs or any other industrial action by third parties. 

6. Returns and Refunds 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are required to contact Gleaming Services by email or telephone immediately upon receipt to let us know.

 

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery in unused, original condition, complete with all packaging, labelling and seals intact. This condition is non-negotiable and forms part of our internal core hygiene and safety policy. 

Returns that do not meet the above criteria may not be processed. Customers are responsible for ensuring the safe return of their orders, using a tracked service. 

As above, we are unable to accept returns of the following items for hygiene reasons if they have been opened, handled, or removed from sealed packaging: pillows, pillowcases, duvets, duvet covers, sheets, mattress protectors, mattress toppers, towels, throws, blankets, or any other bedding-related or personal-use textile item. 

 In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, these exclusions are lawful when hygiene is a material consideration, and your statutory rights remain unaffected in cases where goods are proven to be faulty. Items which are bespoke, made-to-order, personalised, or custom-processed in any way are also excluded from return and refund provisions, in accordance with Section 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Refunds will be processed once the returned goods have been inspected. Return postage fees are the customers responsibility unless the item is faulty. 

Refunds will be made to the original payment method. 

7. Intellectual Property

All website content is owned or licensed by Gleaming Services. 

You may not copy, reproduce or use any material from this website without our written consent. 

8. Privacy and Data Protection 

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use and protect your personal data.
